Fluid Layouts

Fluid layouts, stretched or liquid Templates are entirely flexible, filling the browser window as it expands or contracts.

The main feature of fluid layouts is that they are insensitive to the user's screen resolutions. As apposed to fixed width layouts that set the width of the website at a specific value no matter how wide the viewer's internet browser window is, a nice fluid layout, on the other foot, is better in that using this technique enable your web design to be entirely flexible, filling the browser window as it expands or contracts.

Websites based on fluid layouts will provide users with better user experience as they will not need to scroll while browsing the site.
