This week we’ve got the illustrative work of Katie Kirk. I stumbled across Katies work a while ago, and loved the clean vectors, creative patterns, and just overall awesome work.

To start the week off, I’ve got a cool freebie pack for you. It’s Confetti! My nephew recently won some school contest, and they wrapped the prize in newspaper and confetti. He’s a smart kid, and he knows what I do, so he suggested I check it out. It was very cool. So I decided to make some Photoshop Brushes, Vectors and textures out of the confetti. I wanted to give yall a variety.

For this weeks inspiration we have the work of Design & Coder Nick De Jardine. He’s got very cool, clean, original style. He also has some very nice photography pieces in his portfolio. So check out the below work, and make sure to visit Nick’s site for more.

So typography is awesome. From the popularity of my Quality Free Font posts (serif, sans-serif, script, and even dingbat) I’d say yall enjoy type a good deal too! :) Free fonts are nice, and there are some very beautiful, well-crafted free fonts. But, there are also a whole lot of great type foundries out there creating beautiful, unique premium fonts. So today I’d like to show yall five very cool type foundries, and some of the work that they do.
